Camping trip summer 2008

Well things have certainly changed since my last blog. For those of you who are familiar with the "Old Miners Meadow" up at Yellowbottom you are familiar with the scenic changes for sure. My weeks camping trip saw lot's of changes at our old stomping grounds. We had a large contingent of family and friends who spent one or two weeks camping up at Yellowbottom. During that time we saw lot's of landscape changes. The trees across from the campsite no longer exist, as they have clear-cut the once denses forrest of trees. It was quite a shock, doesn't quite look the same. While we were camping there was a lot of logging going on during my week up there. Monday-Friday seemed to start off very early every morning with the sound of logtrucks and logging equipment. It was sad seeing the once proud stand of trees no longer there. Kind of a depressing site for sure.
The photo here is my parents RV and car in one of their favorite campsites in this campground area.
